Holiday Sewing: Handmade Stockings

Description

Add a handmade touch to your holiday traditions by sewing your very own stocking. Students will learn basic sewing skills while working with festive fabrics, creating a one-of-a-kind decoration that can be cherished year after year.

In this class, you will learn (but not limited to):

• How to cut stocking shapes using a pattern
• How to sew curved seams
• Optional decorative top cuff and hanging loop
• Completing a festive stocking project

Project Supply List (per student):

• 1.5 yards of festive cotton or flannel fabric (pre-washed)
• 1.5 yard lining fabric (cotton or muslin)
• Matching all-purpose polyester thread

This class is open to all experience levels. Students under 15 must have a parent or guardian present.

All students must wear closed-toe shows and tie long hair back for safety. Anyone who does not adhere to the dress code cannot participate in the class and not be refunded.
