Date Night Sewing: Together Tote Bags

Description

Get creative together with this beginner sewing date night! Couples will learn sewing basics while sewing matching tote bags. From threading the machine to sewing straight seams, this class makes for a fun and memorable night where you’ll leave with something you made together.

In this class, couples will learn (but not limited to):

• How to thread and operate a sewing machine
• How to sew straight seams and backstitch for strength 
• How to press and finish seams neatly
• Completing a tote bag project (one per person)

Project Supply List (per student):

• 1 yard of medium-weight cotton or canvas fabric (pre-washed, shared for 2 totes)
• Matching all-purpose polyester thread

This class is open to all experience levels. Students under 15 must have a parent or guardian present.

All students must wear closed-toe shoes and tie back long hair for safety. Anyone who does not adhere to the dress code cannot participate in the class and will not be refunded.
