Candle Making: Pour, Blend & Create 101

Description

Step into the world of scent and creativity with our hands-on candle making experience. In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll design and pour your very own soy candle using clean-burning soy wax, cotton wicks and premium phthalate-free fragrance oils. With the option to blend up to two fragrance oils, you’ll create a candle that reflects your unique style and mood. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing evening, a fun outing with friends, or a new creative outlet, this class offers the perfect mix of learning and artistry.

In this class, you will learn the basics of candle making including (but not limited to):

• How to measure and melt soy wax

• How to safely prepare jars and set cotton wicks

• How to blend fragrance oils for a custom scent

• How to pour and finish your candle

This class is open to all experience levels. Students under 15 must have a parent/guardian present.

All students must wear long pants, closed-toe-shoes, and tie long hair back. Anyone who does not adhere to the dress code cannot participate in the class and will not be refunded.

Because soy candles require curing time to achieve the best fragrance throw, your candles will be ready to take home at the end of class, but will need an additional 1-2 weeks of curing before lighting for the strongest scent.
