About this event

This class is geared towards beginner to intermediate painters. It also serves as an introduction to acrylic painting for those who have no experience. The focus in this class is to take an existing photo and learn how to stylize it in a way that is comfortable for you! This can range from “painterly” styles to more comic-book friendly ideas – the choice is up to you!

Class Details

For this class, you will need to bring reference photo options. It is recommended you bring around 3 - 4 diffferent photos. Requirements for photo references:
▪ Clear image
▪ No overly complex subjects (people are not recommended for the beginnner)
◦ Nature is always a great option, as well as simple still life arrangements
▪ A range of light and dark values, along with different colors in the image is a plus
