About this event

Make marbles with molten glass! Learn how to encase different shapes, colors, and designs in a sphere. Perfect for all skill levels, this hands-on experience lets you create unique marbles.

In this class, you will learn the basics of flameworking including (but not limited to):
-How to gather glass
-How to flame polish glass
-How to shape solid glass
-How to hot seal glass
-How to bridge glass
-Various color applications

Class Details

This class is advanced, but open to all skill levels. Ages 10+. Students under 15 must have a parent/guardian present.

All students must wear long pants, closed toed shoes, and tie long hair back. Anyone who does not adhere to the dress code cannot participate in the class and will not be refunded.

All glass work must be annealed (slow, controlled cooling process) to ensure strength of glass. Because of this, items can be picked up a maximum of one week later, or shipped.

Broken glass is part of the learning process! Molten Makerspace, LLC. is not responsible for repairs of broken glassworks.
